One Perfect Lie

March 15, 2017

It's no secret I truly enjoy Lisa Scottoline's writing.  This is only some of my Scottoline bookstack.  What I love most about her writing style is that you are never quite sure what you are going to get.  Her stories aren't predictable and cover wide range of topics. She writes humerous non-fiction, she has a 4 book suspense series and several titles that are branded as emotional thrillers.

I was privileged to read an advanced copy of her newest emotional thriller, One Perfect Lie.

Imagine being on a roller-coaster. You're chugging up, up, up slowly building anticipation for what's coming; then you're at the tip top peak and begin to free fall forward at rapid speed and the exhilaration is pumping through your body. That's exactly what this book was for me.

The first half of the book was the slow build-up (a bit slower than I prefer) and the second half was passing at warped speed; I was flying through the pages. There were unexpected revelations and so many curveballs I lost count. I absolutely love that when I read a thriller. This one is categorized as an emotional thriller and I couldn't think of a better description than that. Another great read by Lisa Scottoline and if you're a #lisascottoline newbie feel free to start here, you won't regret it.

I give this one 4 action packed stars out of 5

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for this advance review copy in exchange for an honest review.
